Quick and easy Turkey Burgers for any occasion.

This recipe is without a doubt my partners favourite recipe. Every time he comes home after travelling for long periods of time this meal is the most requested.
The best burger I've had in years! I never knew turkey burgers could taste so good. –Jane Williams
INGREDIENTS
500G TURKEY MINCE
1/2 WHITE ONION
1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
1 TSP PAPRIKA
1 TSP OREGANO
SALT & PEPPER
1 TSP OLIVE OIL
1 CUP OF BREAD CRUMBS
100G PURPLE CABBAGE
100G WHITE CABBAGE
100G GREEN APPLE
1 CUP GRATED CARROT
1/3 CUP MAYONNAISE
6 BURGER BUNS
SLICED CHEDDAR CHEESE
METHOD
Directions for Burger Patties:
In a bowl, mix together the minced onion, turkey mince, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Divide the turkey mince mixture into 6 equal portions and shape them into balls.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Place the turkey patties in the pan and press them down until they are 1cm-1.5cm thick.
Sear the patties until golden brown on each side.
Once the patties are cooked through, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover the pan until the cheese melts.
Cut the burger buns in half and toast them in the oven until golden brown.
Assemble the burgers by placing a turkey patty with melted cheese between each toasted bun.
Directions for Apple Slaw:
In a bowl, mix together the grated carrot, finely chopped purple cabbage, white cabbage, and green apple.
Add mayonnaise to the mixture and toss until the ingredients are well coated.
Scoop the apple slaw onto the bottom half of the brioche buns.
Place the turkey patties on top of the slaw, then cover with the top half of the buns.
